Connect your LinkedIn account to ama so you can reach out to candidates directly from your own profile. The video shows the connection steps and what access ama needs.

In this video, I’ll show you how to connect ama to LinkedIn using the ama LinkedIn extension.

Here I’m on my profile page. You can get there by clicking the little profile picture in the top right, then Profile, and going down to ‘Sync LinkedIn account’ — this is what you’ll find.

Before you do anything else, go to the Chrome Web Store and find the ama LinkedIn outreach extension. Download it, and it will appear at the top right of your screen. Once it’s installed, go into LinkedIn, and if you have LinkedIn Sales Navigator or LinkedIn Recruiter, it will usually appear up there — open that as well.

Now you’re ready to connect. Back in ama, click Connect, and it will show you the cookies here — ama will have filled this out for you. If you do have LinkedIn Recruiter, it will get the second cookie filled out as well. I don’t have a LinkedIn Recruiter account, which is why I only get the first one; if you have one, you’ll see both.

Once you see them, click Log in. It’ll take a second, then it takes you back into ama in the settings, where you can see that it did get connected. Good luck with connecting.

Using Sales Navigator or Recruiter?

Open LinkedIn — and your Sales Navigator or Recruiter tab — in the browser before clicking Connect in ama. With a Recruiter licence both cookies are filled in automatically; with a regular LinkedIn account only the first one appears, which is expected.
